School and District Happenings

Any 8th grade parent who received a Delaware School Choice invitation (including those planning to attend Conrad next year) must accept the choice invitation by March 17, 2017.

Grade level assemblies were held the week of February 27th to go over the course selection process. Students and parents should go into HAC between March 3rd and 17th to make course selections. Teachers have already put in their recommendations. We encourage you to align your child’s selections with teacher recommendations in order to ensure their success. Counselors will be meeting with students individually the last two weeks of March to answer questions and finalize selections. Students will not be permitted to change their selections after May 1.

March is National Athletic Training Month!

Athletic Trainers specialize in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries. They are also leaders in concussion recognition and management. They work with doctors, school nurses, coaches, and parents to educate athletes on the prevention of injury and re-injury in order to reduce rehabilitation and other healthcare costs. They are a vital part of an athlete’s healthcare team. Here at Conrad students in the Physical Therapy pathway study many of these things.

Support Conrad softball

Come out to support our Conrad softball program at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, March 8th! Dine in or take out. See any high school softball player for a flyer, or stop by room 314 to pick one up. See you there!
